How to choose a pond pump?
The pump should meet the required working flow at the real system head—not only its maximum open-flow rating. Select a model with enough reserve for filtration loading, pipe friction, seasonal changes and future expansion.

A controller is recommended when the farm needs adjustable flow for feeding cycles, biomass changes, water temperature, filter loading or energy-saving operation.
How to choose a controller?
Choose a controller matched to the pump motor and site power supply. Integrators can coordinate alarms, remote monitoring, duty/standby pumps and automatic operating schedules.

How to select pond pump pipework and cables?
The pump installation should use correctly sized suction and discharge lines, accessible isolation valves and protected electrical connections. Design for easy cleaning and safe service in wet agricultural environments.

- Use corrosion-resistant pipe, valves and sealed connectors.
- Select cable and protection devices for the motor load and distance.
- Keep pump, controls and service access above flood-risk levels where possible.
